CAF African Cup of Nations Ghana 2008 - Day two

January 21st, 2008 | By: Mahmoud | 7 Comments »

AlloudiThe Atlas Lions of Morocco pounded Namibia with a score of 5 to 1. Alloudi of Morocco side has been the man of the match after scoring 3 goals, before he was replaced by Mokhtari when a Namibian defender committed a cruel tackle on him that deserved a red card instead of a yellow. The fourth goal came after a penalty kick translated by Porto forward Sektioui and then the moroccan festival was ended by a header of the substitute Zerka. Moroccan players played the rest of the game with caution to avoid any injuries after repeated violence from the Namibian that lost their chances to comeback on the score.

congrats on the victory. Morocco looks in excellent shape. Aside from a few defensive mixups you guys were perfect. I hope Alloudi is doing ok after that tackle.

Well Tamim, I saw the entire game and the Moroccan squad did everything perfectly, the score translated that. It’s true there was two mistakes in the left corridor of Kaddouri that by the way plays perfect games most of the time. I don’t blame him the opponent was persistent in that side that why he got a yellow card…..But most of the game was played in Namibia’s camp. To prove it there was 5 yellow cards in the period of half hour.Yellow cards were raining left and right in the side of Namibia which shows their humilation …Look closely to the tackle towards Alloudi it was just revenge from a PERFECT MATCH. The referee was very lenient most of the game but a red card should been shown in that particular tackle towards Alloudi. My friend TAMIM it ’s was a festival that’s my opinion what do you think ?????

yes, you are right. i hope one of this three wins the cup: egypt, morocco or tunisia not because they are arab but because they play decent football, others play a stampead.
